NEW AND ONGOING WORKS:

LINCOLNSHIRE

Ongoing - A1 Gonerby Moor near Grantham: Drainage works
Start Date: 25 June 2012 End Date: 7 July 2012   Times: Overnight 8pm till 6am

Traffic Management:  Overnight northbound carriageway closure and 24/7 layby closure, with 50mph speed limit to allow for drainage works. Diversion route via the A52 Saxondale Roundabout and A46 to the A1/A17/A46 roundabout.


NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

Ongoing- A46 Newark to Widmerpool: Old A46 between Saxondale Junction and Margidunum Junction
Start Date: On-going End Date: Summer 2012   Times: 24/7

Traffic Management:  The old A46 between Saxondale and Margidunum is closed in both directions to allow for the completion of the new roundabout at Margidunum Junction. This will re-open by late June 2012.

Ongoing - A46 Newark to Widmerpool: Miscellaneous Traffic Lights

Start Date: On-going End Date: Summer 2012   Times: 24/7

Traffic Management:  Over the course of the next week, temporary traffic lights will be in place at the following locations:

A52 - west of the Saxondale Junction

Old A46 - south of Saxondale Junction

Flintham Junction

Old A46, near to Long Hedge Lane, Syerston

Old A46, Margidunum to Tenman Lane

A606 east of the Widmerpool Junction


NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

New - A43, Silverstone for British Grand Prix

Start Date: Thursday 21 June End Date: Monday 9 July   Times: 24/7

Traffic Management:  Temporary event signing for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

 

RUTLAND
New - A1 Tinwell: Olympic Torch Relay

Start date: 3 July 2012 End date: 3 July 2012   Times: Approx 3pm to 6pm

Traffic management: The northbound exit sliproad and southbound entry sliproad on the A1 at Tinwell will be closed to facilitate the Olympic Torch Relay. Traffic will be diverted along the A606.
