Bristol M32 Junction 2 The Northbound and Southbound on/off slip roads of Junction 2 of the M32 will be closed alternatively to carry out bridge maintenance between the hours of 9pm and 6am from 12 July until 21 July. Clearly signposted diversion routes will be in place. M4/M5 Managed Motorway Scheme M5 Junction 16-15 Northbound The M5 Northbound Junction 16-15 connector roads will be closed overnight on Monday 23 July from 9pm until 6am the following morning. The same closure will also take place on Friday 27 July and Monday 30 July. Traffic wishing to join the M5 Northbound at junction 16 will be diverted East on the M4 to junction 22, return to the Almondsbury Interchange and join the M5 North. Traffic travelling North on the M5 wishing to join the M4 East or West will be diverted North on the M5 to junction 14, return to the Almondsbury Interchange and join the M4 in the appropriate direction. M4 Junction 19-20 M4 Eastbound and Westbound Junction 19-20 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 24 July from 10pm until 6am the following morning. Traffic travelling East on the M4 will be diverted at junction 20 onto the M5 Southbound carriageway, exits at junction 16 and joins the A38 South. Traffic then follows the A38 South, joins the A4174 East at Filton roundabout and then follows the A4174 West to junction 1 of the M32. Traffic then joins the M32 North and re-joins the M4 Eastbound carriageway at junction 19. Traffic travelling West on the M4 will be diverted at junction 19 onto the M32 Southbound carriageway, exits the M32 at junction 1 and joins the A4174 East. Traffic then follows the A4174 East to join the A38 North at Filton roundabout, follows the A38 to junction 16 of the M5, joins the M5 North and follows signs to rejoin the M4 Westbound carriageway. M5 South-M4 West link road The M5 South to M4 West link road will be closed overnight on Tuesday 24 July from 9pm until 6am the following morning. Traffic travelling South on the M5 wishing to join the M4 West will be diverted South to junction 16 and follow signs to join the M4 Westbound carriageway. M5 Junction 15-16 Southbound M5 Southbound junction 15-16 connector road (exit) will be closed overnight on Friday 27 and Monday 30 July from 9pm until 6am the following morning. Traffic travelling South on the M5 wishing to exit at junction 16 will be diverted South on the M5 to junction 17, return to junction 16 and exit. East Devon M5 Junction 29 Lane closures remain in place on the A30, M5 northbound off-slip and southbound off-slip at Junction 29 as work continues to upgrade the junction. Some lane restrictions are being removed or partially removed during the morning and evening rush hours to minimise delays as much as possible. The right turn from A30 westbound to M5 North also remains closed. Traffic is being diverted via Moor Lane Roundabout, back onto the eastbound carriageway of the A30 to continue northbound on the M5. Routes for cyclists and pedestrians are being maintained through the scheme, with some minor diversions. From 07 December, works to carry out construction activities including carriageway widening, surfacing, drainage, loop cutting and gantry erection works will require the overnight closure of: * the northbound exit slip road at M5 Junction 29; * the northbound entry slip road at M5 Junction 29; * the southbound entry slip road at M5 Junction 29. Only one slip road would be closed at a time. There would also be lane closures through the works. Gloucestershire A40 Trunk Road at Huntley Hill in the District of Forest of Dean Work on the A40 Trunk Road at Huntley Hill, west of Gloucester, will require a 40 miles per hour speed limit from a point 300 metres east of the centre of its junction with Hinders Lane to a point 300 metres west of the centre of its junction with Saunders Close. This measure would be in the interests of road safety until embankment stabilisation works and the installation of a permanent safety barrier can be carried out. The speed limit will last until the danger to the public has ended. Somerset No planned roadworks. Wiltshire A419 trunk road - Commonhead Roundabout, Swindon Carriageway surveying and general maintenance works will require the overnight closure of the southbound and northbound carriageways of the A419 Trunk Road between the respective exit and entry slip roads at the A4259 Commonhead Roundabout. It is expected that the works would take place for one night every six weeks between 19 December 2011 and 20 November 2012.
