Weekly summary of roadworks for M25 - Monday 30 July - Sunday 5 August 2012

A traffic management summary for both new and ongoing work

The information provided in this report is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

M4 Boston Manor Viaduct
Vehicles weighing 7.5 tonnes or more are restricted from using the M4 in both directions between junctions 2 and 3 while repair work continues on the Boston Manor Viaduct, just west of junction 2. A signed diversion route remains in place on the adjacent dual carriageways, the A312 and the A4.

M25 Junction 18
The clockwise exit slip road from the M25 at junction 18 will be closed overnight on Monday 30 July between 10pm and 5pm for communications work.
Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 20 and return.

M40
The eastbound and westbound link roads to the clockwise M25 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 31 July between 11pm and 5am for signal work.
Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 14 and return.

A13
The eastbound link road to the southbound A1089 will be closed overnight on Wednesday 1 August between 10pm and 5am for litter clearance.
Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A128 and return.

The eastbound carriageway will be closed between the junctions for the A1306 and the A1012 overnight on Thursday 2 August between 10pm and 5am for litter clearance.
Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the M25 Junction 30 roundabout and return to A13.

A13
The entry slip road to the anti-clockwise M25 at Junction 30 will be closed overnight on Thursday 2 August between 10pm and 5am for litter clearance.
Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A13 to the A126 and return.

A13
The westbound exit slip road to the A1306 will be closed overnight on Friday 3 August between 11pm and 5am for litter clearance.
Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A13 to the A1311.

The eastbound slip road to the A1089 southbound will be closed overnight on Wednesday 1 August between 10pm and 5am for litter clearance.
Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via A128 and return.

A3
The southbound exit slip road to the A244 at Esher Common junction will be closed from 6am on Saturday 28 July and from 6am on Sunday 29 July for the Olympic Road Cycling Road Races. The slip road will be reopened when it is safe to do so. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via Painshill and local roads.

A3
The northbound exit slip road to the A244 at Esher Common junction will be closed from 6am on Saturday 28 July and from 6am on Sunday 29 July for the Olympic Road Cycling Road Races. The slip road will be reopened when it is safe to do so. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via Tolworth and local roads.

A3
The southbound A3 exit slip road at Painshill will be closed from 8.30am on 1 August for the Olympic Road Cycling Time Trial. Drivers travelling northbound who exit the A3 at Painshill will only be able to turn left to Byfleet and Woking; it will not be possible to access Cobham until the race is finished and adjacent roads are reopened.

A fully signposted diversion route will be in place for oversized vehicles for the northbound east tunnel closure.
