LEICESTERSHIRE:

New: A42 Junction 12

Lane one on the northbound carriageway and lane two on the northbound entry slip road will be closed for drainage works from 10pm on Friday, 10 August to 6am the following morning.

Ongoing: A5 Dodwells and Longshoot Junction

Various lane closures and a 40mph speed restriction will be in place until January 2013 for junction alteration works. Moderate delays are expected.

Ongoing: M1 J19/M6 Catthorpe Interchange

Overnight on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 August, from 9pm to 6am each night there will be lane three closures on the M1 northbound and southbound between the junction 19 exit and entry slip roads for street lighting works and testing. Lane one of the M1 northbound will be closed at the same points from 9pm on Wednesday 8 August until 6am the following morning for the removal of temporary street lighting columns.

Lane one of the southbound carriageway of the M6 between Junction 1 and M1 Junction 19 will be closed for two nights on Thursday, 9 to Saturday, 11 August for signage works. The closures will be in place from 9pm to 4.30am each night.


LINCOLNSHIRE

New: A1 Harlaxton

Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the southbound entry and exit slip roads from 8pm on Tuesday, 7 August to 5am the following morning for road marking work.


NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

New: A43 Blisworth

Moderate delays are expected on the A43 while bridge works are carried out. The work requires full overnight closures of either the north or southbound carriageways - southbound from Monday 6 to Monday 19 August and northbound from Saturday 11 to Wednesday 15 August. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am and diversions will be clearly signed.

Ongoing: A45 Barnes Meadow

Overnight lane closures will be in place on the north and southbound exit sliproads until Saturday, 11 August for junction improvement works. On each night the closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am the following morning.

 

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

New: M1 J27

There will be lane closures on the north and southbound carriageways for five nights from Tuesday, 6 August to the morning of Sunday, 12 August for bridge inspections. The closures will take place between 9pm and 5am each night.

New: A52 Elton

Temporary traffic lights will be in place overnight from Monday, 6 August to Friday, 7 September while bridge works are carried out. The work will be carried out between 8pm and 6am each night.

Ongoing - A46 Newark to Widmerpool


Some lane closures still required for planting, verge and surfacing works, and there are 40 mph speed restrictions in place on all approaches to A46 works areas. Details below.

The old A46 between Saxondale and Margidunum remains closed in both directions to allow for the completion of the new roundabout at Margidunum Junction. During this time the slip road will be available for use. This stretch is due to re-open by mid August.

Road users are advised to follow road signs rather than rely on Sat Nav systems which will not have been updated with the new road layout at this stage


.From 8pm on Monday 6 August to 6am on Wednesday 8 August: Lane closure on the northbound carriageway between Slacks Lane and Flintham Junction.
.From 8pm on Monday 6 August to 6am on Tuesday 7 August: Lane closure on the northbound carriageway between Grantham Canal Bridge and Bingham Railway.
.From 8pm on Tuesday 7 August to 6am on Thursday 9 August: Lane closure on the southbound carriageway between Saxondale Junction and Grantham Canal Bridge.
.From 8pm on Wednesday 8 August to 6am on Friday 10 August: Lane closures / hard shoulder closure on the southbound exit slip road to Saxondale Junction.
.Daytime traffic lights on the side road to the west of Flintham Junction (the access road to Coney Grey Spinney) between 8pm on Wednesday 8 August to 6am on Friday 10 August.
