Weekly summary of roadworks for M25 24 August 2012

A traffic management summary for both new and ongoing work

M4 Boston Manor Viaduct
Vehicles weighing 7.5 tonnes or more are restricted from using the M4 between junctions 1 and 3 in both directions while repair work continues on the Boston Manor Viaduct, just west of junction 2. A signed diversion route remains in place on the adjacent dual carriageways, the A312 and the A4.

M25 Junction 28
The clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 29 August for signal work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 29.

M11 Junction 6
The northbound link road to the anti-clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 28 August for safety barrier repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via M25 junction 28.

M20 Junction 1
The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 11pm and 5am on Friday 31 August for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via M25 junction 2.

A1(M) Junction 2
The southbound entry slip road and northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 30 August for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1001.

A405 Right Hand Turns
The northbound A405 right hand turn onto the southbound M1 (adjacent to Chequers Lane) and the southbound A405 right hand turn onto the northbound M1 at junction 6 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 28 August for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the M25 junction 21a for the northbound closure and via the right hand turn adjacent to Coates Way for the southbound closure.

A20 Junction 1
The westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 30 August for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the B2173 and A223 to the A20 Crittalls Corner junction.

A fully signposted diversion route will be in place for oversized vehicles for the northbound east tunnel closure.
