Key2 DVLA Licence Checking is a web based electronic driver licence checking service with the DVLA. Batch licence check requests will be sent automatically depending upon the risk profile of the driver. Periodic checks will be carried out at a frequency of your choice, which will return the following details: Licence commencement date, Expiry date, Category, Restrictions, Conviction dates,Offence dates, Offence code, Points,Disqualification until date. If used in conjunction with Jaama fleet management software, Key2 DVLA licence checking can automatically update your system notifying you immediately of any exceptions or irregularities.

New powers to allow targeted enforcement against car tax evaders come into force today (October 1). Under the new rules the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) and Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) in Northern Ireland will be able to enforce against untaxed vehicles parked off the public road e.g. in local authority car parks.
