Road Users' Alliance: The Road Users’ Alliance (RUA) was formed to provide a voice for all of us who rely on the roads, whether we are travelling on foot, 2 wheels, 4 wheels or more, to get from A to B. RUA’s main aim is to secure sustained investment in the UK road network, which carries 92% of passenger travel in the UK. Each year road users contribute well over £40 billion in taxes to the Treasury, but only a fraction of that amount is re-invested in our roads. RUA speaks up for road users in the media, Parliament and Whitehall and presents the facts to policy makers and politicians.
