The Business Travel Initiative

The Business Travel Initiative (BTI) is a national pilot project developed as the result of requests from small to medium sized local businesses for help to manage transport issues. Bedfordshire County Council and the European Social Fund have responded by making money and support available to offer free access to high-level skills training and support through BTI. The project offers you access to a dedicated training coordinator, who will identify your company’s needs during an initial meeting, and then tailor training and support to suit your business needs. The training aims to give managers the skill and knowledge to develop a strategic travel plan, which will bring real benefits to the company, staff and local environment. Managers will then be given support to put the plan into action, including getting your staff involved in the project.
